Reputation's changeable, situation's tolerable

Okay, it wasn't so bad. Most of the mini pods that hadn't felted too well just needed a little more coaxing. I'll need to have another go at blocking them though - at this size they need careful coaxing to sit on a flat bottom and look balanced, not wonky. A little bit of hand-made charm at the usual size can translate to something pretty shoddy at miniature size.

Oh, look at those cute little minis!

Why do we love these tiny things so?

Compared to the 'wobbly bottoms' on my knitted baskets, they look perfectly fine to me.
It's a good thing people go all misty eyed and gooey about tiny thingies, and may not be as critical as we are about our own creations, no?

I was about to say exactly the same: one of the issues with working in miniature is your focusing so tightly and forget once the item is in the context of a bigger scene whatever it is you're obsessiong about won't actually be noticable!

And your picture is beautiful. I stole it for my blog: hope that's OK?

They're cute singly but in a group, it's almost unbearable. The colors are good and they don't look wonky from here.

I think they are still super charming.
