Conversion, transformation ... alchemy?

This is what keeps me coming back to felting again and again.

And the way lots of separate colours become a visual mixture.

Although sometimes a pretty knitted fabric has to be sacrificed. No pain, no gain, right?

That is so amazing. I love how the stitches disappear and become all blurred together and the colors become a mixture of hues. They are quite a wonderful thing.

Your before pictures are beautiful, too. You could put one with the finished pear and amaze people.
