crazy enough that it just might work

Thanks to a sighting on Donyale's blog, I'm partway through one of these. It hadn't ever occurred to me that you can do ribbing within big cables. I got quite a kick out of this little moment of revelation. Along with how fast it grows. Going from a 4ply project (skinny wool) to two 8plys held together will have that effect!

Very nice. I love it. I think I am going to have to make one myself!

Yes it is - warm, cuddly, soft, delicious - or at least it WAS. I ripped it out last night. Was able to conclude that I had enough wool to make it wider (there is a modification to cast on 28sts instead of 20). Skinny scarves are annoying, even one as warm as this. Will cast on again tonight!

Me Likey....but I too re-did mine with 28 stitches....

That's true, I like a wider scarf myself -- and I'm still working on a scarf that I started to make a wider one, meanwhile using the skinny one.
